Long Exposure

After a bad night and an argument you weren't ready to finish, you drove six hours north into the Hollow County backcountry with a camera and a roll of 28 exposures. The plan was simple: hike the winter loop and clear your head before dark. Then you developed the third frame. You see something tall standing in the tree line. When you lower the camera, the snow between the pines is empty - but every time you take a photo, it stands... closer.
